10th コレクションとなる今回は、アンダーグラウンドシーンでみられるレイブカルチャーのリバイバルをフィーチャー。80 年代後半～90 年代にかけてUK で、サッチャー政権下で格差の拡大と新自由主義の台頭を背景にした社会不安/閉塞感の加速から、システムの外側に自由を求める若者の間から生まれ、移民文化と合流しつつ発展していったアンダーグラウンドムーブメントであるレイブカルチャー。そのイコノグラフィーに敬意を示し、ビビットな蛍光カラーチェーンやホログラムのレザー、オーロラカラーのスタッズなどをバリエーションに追加。ブランドの特徴でもあるインダストリアルなテイストにアクセントを加え、シンプルなものからクラブやパーティなど特別なオケージョンで映えるものまで、現代のストリートモードファッションにマッチしやすくデザインしたコレクション。

With this collection, we were inspired by the revival of rave culture in the contemporary underground scene. From the late 1980s to the 1990s in the UK rave culture was born among young people and migrants seeking freedom outside the system. A form of resistance to a cultural climate of accelerating social unrest and inequality, one beset by widening economic disparities and the rise of neoliberalism. A hommage to the global revival of rave culture and it's iconography; we added a bright fluorescent color chain, a holographic leather, and an aurora color stud to the variations of BTD materials. This collection sees these new elements added to the industrial taste of our brand and effortlessly styles/matches with modern mode fashion, from the street to the party and club.
